What are the benefits of choosing a Como wool rug?

Carpet Court’s Como rug range is beautifully hand crafted from 100% wool, which is a luxurious fibre that will add an instant feeling of sophistication and elegance to any space. While wool may cost you a little more than rugs made from synthetic fibres, it has an incredible, natural durability that ensures it will last for many, many years. In fact, wool rugs are considered a great investment, and can easily become a treasured family heirloom.Como Rugs are available now

What are the main differences between wool and synthetic fibres?

Wool is considered one of the most luxurious fibres you can buy, and the Como rug range is no exception. Wool is amazingly soft to touch and very comfortable underfoot, but thanks to its natural strength, it has the ability to withstand heavy foot traffic.

Unlike other thick, synthetic fibres, the spiral shape and naturally crimped texture of wool means the pile won’t easily become matted down. The wool fibre itself is very soft and springy, so it will easily return back to its original shape.

Are Como rugs a good choice for families with children?

Wool is one of the healthiest rug choices you can make. It is naturally hygienic, low allergen and actually deters the growth of bacteria and dust mites. The rich textures of the Como rug range has the added benefit of extra grip, which is an important consideration for things such as balance. With gentle cushioning underfoot, little ones will always have a soft place to fall.

If you or any members of your family suffer from allergies, wool’s natural filtering abilities will help keep nasties away. Breathe easy when you add Como wool rugs in playrooms and bedrooms to add softness to the décor.

How easy are wool rugs to keep clean?

Very easy. To keep your wool rug in tip-top condition, vacuum it regularly and spot treat any stains or spillages as soon as they occur using a suitable wool cleaner.

Will a wool rug be too hot in a warm climate?

Not at all. Wool itself has excellent insulating properties, so in Summer the fibre will prevent heat rising through the floor, keeping your room cool and comfortable.

When the temperature goes down, our wool rugs can help reduce heat being lost through an uninsulated floor, so your room stays nice and cosy.

Are Como wool rugs environmentally friendly?

Yes. Wool is one of the most environmentally friendly flooring products on the market, as it is a renewable fibre. The energy usage that goes into producing wool is much lower than other carpet materials such as nylon, which keeps the carbon footprint of wool very low.

Wool rugs are also biodegradable and recyclable, so if you’re looking for sustainable luxury, Como rugs are the perfect choice.

How do I purchase a rug?

Because our rugs collection can only be purchased online, we’ve made the process easy and hassle-free. You can browse the entire range on any device, select your size and colour, follow the checkout process and your new rug will be ready for you to pick up at your closest participating store.

What if I need to return or exchange my Como rug?

It’s our job to make sure you’re 100% happy with your rug purchase, which is why we’ve implemented an easy return or exchange policy. If you don’t like your rug once you’ve seen it in your space, you can return it to your nearest Carpet Court store within 5 days of collection for a refund or exchange to the value of the purchase price. You must have proof of purchase and the rug must be in new condition and in the original packaging.
