What are the benefits of a polypropylene carpet?
Polypropylene carpets are highly stain resistant, making them a great option for children’s bedrooms where spills are likely to occur. They also offer impressive colour fastness, so are well-suited to spaces with a lot of natural sunlight.
What are the benefits of a textured loop pile?
Textured loop piles help to improve a carpet’s durability. The tightly looped fabric makes the fibres more resistant to pile-crushing helping them to retain their shape for longer and minimise footprints and tracking.
In addition to their practical benefits, textured loop carpets like Audition offer some unique positives from a styling perspective. With loops of different heights, the fibres form distinctive patterns, adding visual interest and depth to your room’s base.
Textured loop piles also create colour depth and shade, with the Audition collection’s palette made up of a mix of natural neutrals that complement a range of interior styles.
How do I care for this carpet?
Keep your Audition carpet looking as good as new by vacuuming regularly to pick up any dry debris or dirt. This prevents grains from becoming embedded in the fibres, which can cause them to wear down over time and create unsightly patches. To clean deep down into the pile, we also recommend treating your Audition carpet to a steam clean every 12 to 18 months.
In the case of spills or more serious stains, make sure you address them as quickly as possible. Try using hot water and a clean cloth in the first instance. Blot rather than rub the stain, working from the outside in to prevent the stain from spreading or the carpet from becoming worn down.
