Our newly renovated home was built in the 1950’s and had a mixture of different flooring types throughout. In some parts, it had original hardwood floorboards that had been painted white, while others were covered with old carpet meaning we had a big job ahead of us!
Our home was built in the 1950’s, and with the exception of some basic additions, it still maintained its original condition.Being built in the 50’s meant the house contained several small rooms, that didn’t suit the way that we wanted to live.We wanted to create a home with an open plan living, kitchen and dining area which also integrated seamlessly with our front yard.
