To determine which warranties in the Warranty Table apply to the carpet you have purchased, please refer to the first page of this warranty brochure, which details the type of carpet you have purchased. Only the warranties set out in the column headed by the type of carpet you have purchased apply to your carpet. For example, if the carpet you have purchased is a wool or wool blend carpet, then only the warranties set out in the column headed ‘Wool’ or ‘Wool Blend’ in the Warranty Table apply to your carpet.

To keep your carpet looking and feeling its best there are three important things you must do: 1) Vacuum at least once a week, or more in heavy traffic areas, to remove dirt particles before they become embedded in the carpet pile; 2) Treat spills straight away; 3) A professional ‘deep’ or restorative cleaning treatment once every 12-18 months will do wonders to protect your carpet pile and enhance its beauty. More detailed information on caring for your carpet can be found and downloaded here.
What are the benefits of a nylon carpet?
Nylon fibres are outstandingly resilient, making nylon carpets, like those from the Hudson collection, ideal for installation in areas with high foot traffic. The fibres’ strength makes the carpet more resistant to pile crushing, helping it to retain its shape for longer. Nylon fibres are also less likely to shed with wear, reducing the need to vacuum.
The fibres in the Hudson carpet collection have also been solution dyed during the production process, which locks colour in for a rich, vibrant finish. This means nylon carpets are less susceptible to fading and ideally suited to areas with a lot of natural sunlight. This process also makes nylon an extremely stain-resistant material.
What are the benefits of a textured loop pile?
Textured loop piles help to improve a carpet’s durability. The tightly looped fabric makes the fibres more resistant to pile-crushing helping them to retain their shape for longer and minimise footprints and tracking.
In addition to their practical benefits, textured loop carpets like Hudson offer some unique advantages from a styling perspective. With loops of different heights, the fibres form distinctive patterns, adding visual interest and depth to your room’s base.
Textured loop piles also create colour depth and shade, with the Hudson collection’s palette made up of a mix of earthy neutrals that complement a range of interior styles.
How do I care for this carpet?
Keep your Hudson carpet looking as good as new by vacuuming regularly to pick up any dry debris or dirt. This prevents grains from becoming embedded in the fibres, which can cause them to wear down over time and create unsightly patches. To clean deep down into the pile, we also recommend treating your Hudson carpet to a steam clean every 12 to 18 months.
In the case of spills or more serious stains, make sure you address them as quickly as possible. Try using hot water and a clean cloth in the first instance. Blot rather than rub the stain, working from the outside in to prevent the stain from spreading or the carpet from becoming worn down.
