Care Instructions

Prompt and immediate attention to any spillages or stains is paramount to avoid the penetration of a stain into the carpet fibres. Liquids (particularly hot liquids) must be attended to immediately. If allowed to cool or dry, the stain will be almost impossible to remove. Care must be taken as haphazard attempts at spot removal can cause permanent stain setting, pile distortion and loss of colour. More detailed information on how to care for your carpet can be found by downloading the full product brochure here.

What are the benefits of a synthetic carpet?

Synthetic fibres like polyester, as favoured by the Court Haven collection, come with a number of benefits. Firstly, because the fibres have been solution dyed during the production process, this locks in colour for a rich, vibrant finish. This makes the carpet less susceptible to fading and means they are well-suited to areas with a lot of natural sunlight.

Coupled with this, synthetic materials like polyester strike the balance between comfort and cost. Offering a quality feel underfoot, without the expenditure associated with wool products, Court Haven carpets promise a great look and feel for less.

Where is this carpet best suited to?

Heavy-duty cut twist pile carpets, like the Court Haven collection, work well in most areas of the home – even those which experience high levels of foot traffic. Their resistance to pile crushing helps the carpet to retain its look and finish for longer, making it ideally suited to active family living. It also means the fibres are less likely to shed with wear, reducing the need to vacuum.

Available in a range of warm neutral tones, Court Haven carpets help to create a versatile base for the room. These types of tones also help to camouflage the marks and dirt that are often a by-product of active family living.

How do I care for this carpet?

Keep your Court Haven carpet looking as good as new by vacuuming regularly to pick up any dry debris or dirt. This prevents grains from becoming embedded in the fibres, which can cause them to wear down over time and create unsightly patches. To clean deep down into the pile, we also recommend treating your Court Haven carpet to a steam clean every 12 to 18 months.

In the case of spills or more serious stains, make sure you address them as quickly as possible. Try using hot water and a clean cloth in the first instance. Blot rather than rub the stain, working from the outside in to prevent the stain from spreading or the carpet from becoming worn down.

How do I know how much product I’ll need?

Our website can provide you with a very broad estimate of costings based on three average sized rooms with pre-set dimensions.

For a definitive cost however, Carpet Court offers a free measure and quote service where one of our professional carpet fitters will measure your space and provide a final price for your chosen carpet style. You can book an appointment from this page or contact your local Carpet Court store, where a team member will be happy to help.
