What differences are there between Exquisit and Exquisit Plus laminate floors?
German manufacturer AFS Kronotex have created a number of stunning laminate flooring collections available from Carpet Court, including Exquisit and Exquisit Plus.
Of course both collections are ‘exquisite’ hardwearing laminate designs offering durability, resilience and incredible photographic likeness to real timber, while being an affordable flooring alternative to authentic timber floorboards.
Created using innovative technology consisting of layered, high-density fibreboard, realistic digital photographic layers and highly resilient, protective surface layers, both Exquisit and Exquisit Plus can transform your home with their natural beauty, practicality and modern aesthetic appeal.
Both Exquisit and Exquisit Plus click-and-lock laminate boards are 1380mm long and 8mm thick, representing superior design and excellent value. The Exquisit Plus product offers a different look however, consisting of 244mm wide boards where the Exquisit boards are 193mm wide. What does this mean for you? The wider boards create a more seamless appearance with less joins, highlighting the spaciousness of large rooms and making smaller rooms appear larger. If you are undertaking the installation as a DIY project, the wider boards make the job a little simpler.
What designs will I find in the Exquisit Plus range?
Reproducing the elegant beauty of the mighty oak, the Exquisit Plus range consists of four highly sophisticated designs ranging from subtle to bold.
Gala Oak White is a cool, contemporary design which is crisp, light and refreshing. Perfectly complementing an on-trend white and grey interior colour palette, Gala Oak White creates a chic, casual ambience ideal for many family homes.
Palace Oak Dark is bodacious and lively, offering toasty warmth and rich forest-like undertones. The swirling woodgrain, knots and all, is highly evident in Palace Oak Dark, in comparison to Gala Oak White in which the woodgrain texture is subtle. Contrasting beautifully with interior styling in light, neutral tones, Palace Oak Dark makes a bold statement.
Can’t decide between earthy brown tones or trending smoky greys? Check out Rift Oak which cleverly blends the two, creating a floor that is both cosy and cool.
Completing the collection, Village Oak has timeless beauty perfectly suited to interior designs which are elegant and traditional, while also integrating seamlessly with contemporary splendour.
