Having seen more than her fair share of flooring through a lifetime of home renovations, Shelley combined her passion for DIY and interior design to create her new Real Living range, which is exclusive to Carpet Court. The Modular Living Vinyl collection is part of this inspiring range, which is designed for real family living.
What is the inspiration behind the Modular Living Vinyl range?
As a busy working mum, Shelley fully understands the importance of choosing flooring that can endure everyday life, especially in high-traffic areas.
“I hope my Carpet Court Modular Living vinyl range will inspire people to try a new style in their space, for a simple but effective interior refresh. I wanted to include options that would appeal to a range of styles, budgets and lifestyle requirements,” explains Shelley.
What makes Modular Living Vinyl flooring stand out?
The Modular Living vinyl flooring range is available in a range of contemporary colours to add instant sophistication and a sense of luxury to your space.
Modular Living vinyl flooring is a modern flooring innovation that looks like real oak, real Blackbutt and real spotted gum but performs much, much better. Made from flexible, high performance vinyl, each plank is constructed with two extra strong fibreglass layers that provide incredible dimension stability. Having such stability in your flooring gives you great peace of mind knowing your Modular Living Vinyl flooring won’t shrink or expand or move.
The natural design is printed in high resolution onto vinyl, and unlike real timber, it won’t fade. This hardwearing range features a heavy wear layer and extremely hardwearing surface which is stain and scratch resistant. It can take the heavy knocks from the toughest families, and still look fantastic!
Modular Living Vinyl flooring is easy to clean, easy to live with and easy on the eye.
What are the design attributes of this range?
This stunning range gives you a perfect reproduction of natural oak, blackbutt and spotted gum recreated in your home for a fraction of the cost of the real thing. The Modular Living Vinyl flooring collection is available in 8 beautiful shades, designed to suit any style of home, be it traditional or contemporary. Coastal Blackbutt and Murray River Spotted Gum are wonderfully rich and warm in colour, and bring your floors to life with their natural look. Siberian Oak is a great choice if you’re a fan of Scandi inspired décor, and the freshness of the shade brings a light, airy feel to your home. Limed Oak plays to the trend of grey, which is a very versatile colour as you can mix it with virtually any colour of accessories and furniture without the risk of clashing. If you like a more dramatic feel, consider dark flooring such as the Gunmetal Oak. This colour looks amazing next to white walls and imbues a room with designer luxury and sophistication. For a more traditional look and feel, check out Manuka, which perfectly recreates the desired timber look.
Why should I choose vinyl?
When you consider its durability, versatility and affordability, it’s no surprise to learn that vinyl is enjoying modern day resurgence and is a favourite flooring option for budget savvy renovators. Modular Living Vinyl flooring combines the latest design trends with exceptional performance. It’s super easy to lay, simple to maintain and can be installed in any room of the house.
Vinyl is also one of the few flooring options that can be installed without joins in bathrooms, laundries and kitchens. With extra cushioning for added comfort, vinyl is also a dream to walk on. If you or your children like to walk around the house barefoot, both in summer and winter, a vinyl floor is the perfect solution as not only is it warm to the touch, it is also a soft surface to walk on.
Modular Living vinyl flooring also insulates against noise and provides a thermal barrier, so it’s ideal for second storeys, large spaces and great for kitchens where entertaining is done.
