The range also features the patented Välinge click-locking system for ease of installation; which, combined with its micro-bevelled finish, further contributes to delivering a wholly seamless aesthetic.
What range of colours are available?
The range comprises six unique styles taken from traditional Australian timber species – Sydney Blue Gum, Spotted Gum, Jarrah, Grey Ironbark, Blackbutt and Brush Box. Each finish offers a distinct grain and gradient of tone that meshes flawlessly with a variety of colour palettes, bringing instant warmth to any room.
Why should I consider Stockmans Ridge timber floors?
When it comes to top quality floating floors, timber is an investment worth making.
Due to its special design structure and high stability, Stockmans Ridge floating flooring will retain a flat surface for its lifetime, guaranteed to remain free from defects for 25 years. This level of durability ensures a look that will last for decades to come and is supported by Platinum Coating Technology. Fourteen acrylic coats of lacquer provide reinforced dent and scratch resistance that make it ideal for use within high traffic areas, like hallways or living areas.
Coupled with this the timeless finish provides a neutral base for any room, lending itself to a full range of colour palettes and interior styles, with its natural differences in grain and texture promising to bring individual character to any space. Exceptionally versatile, timber floors offer an adaptable look that can be easily updated with the addition of chunky knitted rugs in winter or flat weave styles for the warmer months.
What’s more, with the trend for eco-friendly interiors on the rise Stockmans Ridge timber floating floorboards offer a unique way to bring some authentic green design into your home. Sustainably sourced from FSC certified plantations, they are harvested using environmentally viable production techniques, allowing renovators to bring the outside in, responsibly.

If timber floating floors aren’t the ideal solution for your home, lifestyle or budget, you may want to consider installing floating floors from our vinyl, laminate, hybrid or bamboo collections. Bringing a variety of benefits to your home, these durable products offer the aesthetic beauty of natural timber for a fraction of the price.
How do I look after timber floating floors?
While already exceptionally durable, there are some simple maintenance measures you can take to further extend the life of your timber floating flooring. Regular sweeping, for example, either with a soft bristle or microfiber brush or using vacuum cleaner will prevent dirt and dust particles from building up, which can result in scratches to the surface over time.
For tougher stains, use a well wrung mop and a non-abrasive, specialist floor cleaning product, but make sure not to flood the floor with water, as timber is a natural material that can warp when subjected to excess moisture. Similarly, it’s important to ensure any spills are cleaned up immediately to prevent water marks from forming.
Timber floating floors can also be susceptible to fading from sun exposure, so some strategically placed rugs can help to maintain the colour and tone while also preventing floorboards from becoming worn or scratched in places where foot traffic is high. Move them around regularly to avoid patches of different colour.
For rooms which receive a significant amount of direct exposure to UV rays, you may want to consider installing blinds from Carpet Court’s sunscreen range to protect timber floors and furnishing from sun damage. Dual brackets facilitate the hanging of two blinds from one bracket, a daytime sunscreen blind and a blockout blind for night time privacy.
It’s also wise to bear in mind that, although highly resistant to scratches thanks to its layers of tough, acrylic coating, your timber floating floors can become damaged by animal claws and high heeled shoes over time, so try to avoid these coming into contact with your flooring wherever possible.
Timber floors are a valuable investment in your home. Following the manufacturer’s care instructions will result in a lifetime of durable performance and aesthetic beauty from your timber floating floors.
