Birman is an Australian-made carpet that is ideal for the family home exclusive to Carpet Court. A light-weight twist pile carpet, Birman is ultra-resilient and is made specifically to endure the wear and tear of kids and pets. This carpet has 4 stars on the Australian Carpet Classification Scheme.
Birman is made from UltraPet fibres, providing higher flexibility and durability than regular PET fibre carpet. These fibres also improve chemical and UV resistance whilst repelling common spills or accidents from your pets. Birman is super easy to clean, with most spills washable using only water.
A solution dyed fibre, the colour of this carpet is built into the yarn during manufacture. This ensures the colour of your carpet will be maintained for years to come. Birman has a 15-year warranty that covers wear, stain resistance and colour retention, along with a lifetime warranty on antistatic. When paired with the UltraPet underlay, the warranty can be extended by 10 years, to a total of 25 years.
If you would like extra peace-of-mind, pair Birman with our UltraPet underlay. The underlay is manufactured with StainShield for added protection against spills and stains. It also includes antimicrobial protection, which prevents odours and ensures hygienic freshness for a healthier home environment. Victoria Carpets will warrant your UltraPet carpet for an additional 10 Year period if your carpet has been installed on Dunlop UltraPet underlay. The extended warranty is applicable to residential wear, stain resistance, pet resistance and colourfast warranty.
