Avoid indentation from stilettos or spiked heels and dragging furniture and other heavy objects across the floor. • Do not use polishes on the floor, as these materials will prevent the floor from being over-coated in the future

How to install Precinct Oak timber flooring?
Precinct Oak timber floors are quick and easy to install. These types of flooring use a click and lock system to ‘float’ above the subfloor. Precinct Oak uses a special 5G click locking system which means it is much quicker and easier to install than the old systems.
If you are a handy DIYer you can install Precinct Oak timber flooring yourself, or if you prefer to leave it to the experts the fully qualified and highly experienced installers at your locally owned and operated Carpet Court store will tackle the job for you.
How to polish Precinct Oak timber flooring?
These easy to clean real timber floors are like laminate flooring – they don’t need any special treatment such as polishing. Simply vacuum household dust, dirt and debris regularly with a hard floor brush attachment to your vacuum cleaner. Don’t use any other vacuum head on your floating floors as you can scratch the surface if you don’t have a suitable brush attachment.
You can also sweep these types of flooring with a soft indoor broom, run a microfibre mop over them, or use a slightly damp (not wet!) mop on any stubborn marks or stains. If you are using a damp mop ensure the room is well ventilated to allow the surface to dry quickly. For the same reasons you shouldn’t wet mop timber floors, we do not recommend installing Precinct Oak timber flooring in wet areas such as your bathroom and laundry.
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions when caring for engineered floating floors.
