Victoria Carpets provides outstanding warranties on its wool carpets which are subject to the following conditions.
Carpets must be properly installed over new underlay according to the Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS-2455 and maintained adequately as recommended in the brochure.
The full warranty brochure can be viewed and downloaded here.
Frequent vacuuming removes soil particles from the surface before they work their way below the pile surface. It is recommended to vacuum at least once a week and more for a heavy traffic area. It is recommended to use either upright vacuums or quality barrel vacuums. Extra care must be taken in heavy traffic areas, including entrance areas. More information on carpet care can be downloaded here.
What are the benefits of a wool blend carpet?
Wool blend carpets, like the Talisa Springs collection, combine the best of both wool and synthetic fibres for a stylish, ultra-durable flooring solution.
Wool’s luxurious feeling underfoot is underpinned by synthetic fibres’ superior resistance to pile crushing, foot tracking and indentation marks. This means the carpet not only feels great, but maintains its shape and finish for longer.
The deluxe blend also means wool’s natural stain resistance is reinforced by the colour fastness of synthetic materials.
All of these qualities make Talisa Springs an ideal carpet for installation in the areas that traditionally experience high foot traffic, such as entranceways, staircases and living areas.
What styling benefits does this carpet offer?
Crafted for contemporary homes, the muted earthy colours and contrasting rich tones of Talisa Springs create a feeling of pure luxury and warmth.
The diverse colour options available within the range make achieving your desired interior style simple. Choose lighter shades like Artisan or Mineral to make the most of natural light or create a coastal look. Alternatively, grey carpets, like Chivay and Caldas, pared with metallic silver, mirrored surfaces and statement soft furnishings help to create the sleek, contemporary look that’s so popular for urban homes.
How do I care for this carpet?
Keep your Talisa Springs carpet looking as good as new by vacuuming regularly to pick up any dry debris or dirt. This prevents grains from becoming embedded in the fibres, which can cause them to wear down over time and create unsightly patches. To clean deep down into the pile, we also recommend treating your Talisa Springs carpet to a steam clean every 12 to 18 months too.
In the case of spills or more serious stains, make sure you address them as quickly as possible. Use a cleaning product suitable for both wool and synthetic fibres and blot rather than rub the stain, working from the outside in, to prevent the stain from spreading or the carpet from becoming worn down.
Caring for your carpet from the earliest days will ensure that it lasts for as long as possible. More information and tips can be in our online cleaning and care guide.
