About Us

Caloundra Carpet Court

Caloundra Carpet Court was opened in 2018 by local owners Scott and Bianca. We initially opened at Home Central Kawana and are now located at 112 Nicklin Way, Warana. We expect to open our second store at Aura early in 2024. Exciting times ahead, it’s fair to say we have grown significantly since opening our doors. Bianca hails from a long line of family-owned Carpet Court stores, with her brothers owning six stores in NSW. Keep an eye out for Scott driving around in his much-loved Carpet Court branded Kombi – very appropriate on the Sunshine Coast!

We are not just a flooring store and carpet store! When you visit our showroom in-store, The lovely ladies will greet you and the friendly team will walk you through our extensive range of flooring solutions and window coverings, including:

Bianca was an interior designer in a previous life. She has an amazing eye for detail and shares her knowledge with our helpful team. Many of our customers are time-poor and rely on our team to take a careful brief of their needs and tastes to make recommendations. The Coast has a lot of people moving here, some of whom need to fit out their property before moving in. So, our suggestions become even more important in these situations.

Our local knowledge of Coastal lifestyle and design tastes combined with our deep commitment to customer service make us a worthy provider of flooring products and window advice. We pride ourselves on helping customers achieve a look they love that will endure for many years.

We sure do! Call the Carpet Court specialists and we’ll come to you. We understand that choosing the best carpet, flooring, curtains and blinds is a big decision and with so many options to choose from, it can be a little overwhelming. With years of experience, rest assured we know our products and we look after quality flooring, curtains and blinds every day. So, leave your new floors and window coverings with us while you get on with what you do best.

Deciding on the best flooring options and window coverings for your home or business relies heavily on your lifestyle and the purpose of your space. To help us work out how we can provide you with the best high-quality products for your needs and lifestyle, consider the following factors:

  • Maintenance and durability: If spills and accidents are likely to be a frequent occurrence, hard floorings are worth considering, at least for living areas. Or if you have commercial premises requiring carpet, consider new carpet tiles which can be easily replaced.
  • Acoustics: Hard flooring is very practical, but it is noisier than carpet. Rugs help to soften the acoustics of hard flooring.
  • Comfort: Do you prefer the feeling of soft, plush carpet underfoot or smooth hard flooring?
  • Budget: For hard flooring, timber is at the highest price point while vinyl planks and laminate flooring are at the more affordable end. Wool carpet tends to be more expensive than solution-dyed nylon and synthetic carpets.

  • Child safety: Do you need to consider blinds or curtain controls that are out of reach from little hands?
  • Pet-friendly: You might need something that can be raised above the height of claws and paws, such as roller blinds, or something with components that are easily replaced like vertical or panel blinds. Plantation shutters are also easy-clean and pet-friendly.
  • Direct sunlight: How much light and glare do you need to control and keep off your floors and furnishings?
  • Privacy: Do you require both day and night privacy?
  • Room darkening: Does your space need a blockout capability? Many people prefer blockout options for bedrooms and home theatres.

The Sunny Coast is full of cafes, bars and restaurants and we’ve been involved in fitting out the flooring, curtains and blinds in many of these spaces. Carpet Court offer flooring installations from commercial flooring from vinyl in kitchens to meet Australian standards or carpet tiles in a hotel. We also enjoy long-standing relationships with several local builders, and we value our place in their project teams.

Bianca and Scott’s children attend school locally and are involved in many sporting organisations. Caloundra Carpet Court proudly sponsors the Caloundra Golf Club and Caloundra Panthers Football Club. You’ll often find Scott and Bianca on the sporting sidelines fielding calls about Carpet Court. Being mobile allows them to juggle family and business and they enjoy giving back to the community that gives so much to them.

Nationally, Carpet Court Australia has a partnership with RizeUp, a charity that supports victims of domestic violence. We love collecting donations for this charity and spreading the word about their important work in our local community. We have also supported flood victims locally through donations of high-quality carpets.
