Warranty Information

The warranty and maintenance guide covers carpets made by Cavalier Bremworth. We source only the highest quality materials to ensure your carpet stands up to modern family life. As with all types of flooring, our carpets require regular care to stay looking their best, so please take the time to read the recommended care and cleaning procedures. It’s also important that you read the Warranty Terms and Conditions as well as the General Terms and Conditions which relate to these warranty packages.

These can be found to download here.

Care Instructions

Correct and regular maintenance will increase the life span of a carpet and also help maintain its good appearance. Cleaning should be proportional to the amount of soiling to which the carpet is subjected: the more dirt is deposited on the carpet, the more intensive is the maintenance programme required. For more detailed information on how to care for your carpet, please download the brochure here.

Is this carpet suitable for busy homes?

The Islands carpet is classed as an ‘extra heavy duty’ style for a number of reasons.

Firstly, they are made from 100% New Zealand wool. With their natural crimp and superior strength, wool fibres are highly crush resistant, offering exceptional durability and helping to retain the carpet’s finish.

Combined with a textured loop pile, this creates a distinct, textured finish that also helps minimise tracking marks and footprints.

As a natural fibre, wool also has a level of natural stain resistance that makes it much easier to clean.

All of these elements combine to create a carpet capable of coping with the rigours of active family living that will last well into the future.

What do I need to consider when purchasing a wool carpet?

Unless you’re a DIY pro, it’s likely you’ll need to have wool carpet professionally installed, so it’s worth factoring this cost into your overall budget. For an estimate of installing The Islands carpet, please contact your local Carpet Court store where a team member will be happy to help you.

Like all carpets from the Gaia Wool collection, they’re made to last. These carpets are an investment, with the higher price point reflecting their quality and durability.

How do I care for wool carpet?

The first thing that can be done is to invest in a quality underlay. This can help prolong your carpet’s lifespan and also make things even more comfortable underfoot.

Once your carpet has been installed, make sure you give it a regular vacuum to pick up any dry debris. If you feel its finish is starting to look a little tired, a deep steam clean once every 12 to 18 months can keep your carpet looking fresh.

While The Islands carpets do have a natural level of stain resistance, it’s still essential that any stains are treated as soon as possible using a soft cloth, warm water and wool cleaner.

Blot the stain, starting from the outside and working inwards to avoid the stain spreading or the carpet getting worn down in that patch.
